On a 2 month placement with Fauna and Flora International, I assisted with the eradication of black rats from this remote, and beautifully unique island. These images were made possible thanks to this opportunity and hopefully these images can help spread the message that island restoration projects such as this are vital for the native fauna and flora that call islands like this home.
The Redonda Restoration Programme is a collaborative programme of the Government of Antigua & Barbuda, Environmental Awareness Group, Fauna & Flora International, British Mountaineering Council, Wildlife Management International Ltd and Island Conservation, with funding and in-kind support from Darwin Initiative, National Fish & Wildlife Foundation, Taurus Foundation, Global Wildlife Conservation, Betty Liebert Trust, Syngenta Crop Protection AG and Caribbean Helicopters Ltd.
